What to look for

A wide, high waistband that sits above the belly button and doesn't roll.
Longer legs (bermuda length) to smooth the thighs and stop them rubbing together.
Seamless or soft edges so nothing cuts in at the thigh or waist.
Breathable fabric for comfort in hot weather.
